Working for Amazon or Maritime?
Of course, we arrange goods-in-transit insurance for all kinds of hauliers but if you carry goods on behalf of these companies then you'll need specially enhanced cover.
For example, if you have a contract with Amazon they require, as standard, £100k All Risks cover per vehicle, and in some cases they stipulate a requirement of up to £180k - and this is something we can easily arrange.
And a standard Maritime contract will require enhanced RHA cover of £6,500 per tonne for most goods, increasing to £13,000 per tonne for bottled wine.

What does Goods-in-Transit Insurance cover?
Goods in transit insurance covers cargo (either your own or those of another person or company) when it’s in transit from one location to another. It also covers when the cargo is being stored during a journey.
Can I cover more than one vehicle?
Insurance is provided for a named vehicle therefore you need to obtain separate cover for each vehicle you want to protect.
Are all goods included?
Common exclusions for goods in transit insurance will include living creatures, theft-attractive goods, fine arts and money or bullion. If you have special requirements refer to your policy documents for full terms and conditions.
